Trail Closures:

Many of you have been calling about the Lake George Trail (New York) at Mt. Kenyon. This trail has been closed for most of the summer due to safety concerns. It has been determined that we need to build a new trailhead that will give us better and easier access up the mountain. That being said....the Mt. Kenyon trail will remain closed for the remainder of the season. We will start construction of the new trailhead in early spring. The new trailhead will not be as steep, allowing more riders access to the mountain.

ATV Trails close........VMP (Virginia) has announced that it has been forced to close down the "woods trails" portion of their park. This closure is a direct result of the bad economy and the rising cost of the property lease. The MX track and the BMX portion of the park are still open and are thriving. For more information on this go to vmp-atv.com

As hunting season approaches it is imperative that you check our website to see if the trail that you are traveling to is open. Many of the trails and parks close for hunting and the times that they close vary from trail to trail. If you are not sure...."call before you haul"!!!

Club News:

Downstate NY riders can rejoice!!! Orange County has a new OHV club......
